Today, I am proud to introduce my crochet brand — created with love, memories, and a purpose very close to my heart.
Mumtaz Mukhtar is named in honour of my two beloved grandmothers, who were sisters by blood and sisters in life. One fought cancer, the other battled diabetes. Though they are no longer with us, their love, warmth, strength and beautiful memories continue to inspire me every day.
Losing them left a space in my heart that can never truly be filled. Through crochet, I found comfort, creativity and peace — my way of keeping their memories alive, in every colour I choose and every piece I share with you.
What began as a healing journey has now become a dream I'm excited to bring to life. Thank you for being here at the beginning of this special one.
A story woven in thread & passion
Ramsha Asif Siddiqui holds a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from the Asian Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD). With a strong academic foundation in textiles and a deep passion for creativity, she specialises in transforming ideas into thoughtfully designed, handcrafted pieces.
She is currently building Mumtaz Mukhtar into a home for meaningful, handmade crochet — pieces that reflect warmth, detail and artistry in every knot. Her work is inspired by traditional craft techniques paired with a modern eye for design, so each piece carries both aesthetic value and emotional connection.
Through this platform, she shares unique, high-quality handcrafted items that bring beauty and comfort into everyday life, while continuing to grow as a designer and entrepreneur.
